Garden Patio Villas recently took advantage of a grant offered by the City of Margate and the State of Florida.
The grant, called “Property Improvement Program” (PIP), allowed up to $50,000 toward property improvements of which the City would contribute half of the funds (up to $10,000) towards that specific improvement. PVC fences were one of the items allowed for this grant.
It was the Board’s decision to use this grant to replace our perimeter fence along Margate Blvd. As many of you know, the fence was destroyed by previous hurricanes as well as pest infestations and a recent auto accident.
Due to those issues when entering Garden Patio Villa’s property from Margate Blvd. entrance, our community now has gained a look of properties found in higher priced HOA communities.
Our Board of Directors is constantly looking for improvements in order to maintain our 45 year old community and increase the value of our homes!
