Garden Patio Villas Association, Inc. is a Homeowners Association (HOA) in Margate, Florida. We are a small senior 55+ community where many enjoy the closeness of knowing our neighbors. It was developed in 1976. We are surrounded by plenty of wildlife and enjoy the serenity of peace, beautiful flowers and trees. We have 83 villas which have garages or car ports. Most of the villas are 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. Each Owner is a Member of our HOA community. When you buy into our community you have a restricted deed unlike a regular single family home. We do not allow any renting. Our community is self-managed by a voted-in Board of Directors who are also all Members of our community! All Members are required to follow our Governing Documents, Rules & Regulations and the Florida Statutes 720. Currently, Maintenance fees are $570 per quarter.
Garden Patio Villas is about quiet retirement living, although many still have full time jobs and enjoy living here in South Florida. We are a diverse group of seniors from many locations. Some in our community are snowbirds and live here part-time. The Association is self-managed which helps us increase our home values and helps maintain and beautify our surroundings here in Margate, Florida. Villas sell very quickly when they become available!
