Garden Patio Villas (GPV) is self-managed. The responsibilities of GPV Board Members are five different officer positions. The responsibilities and duties of each officer position is listed below. Due to acting as a management company, each officer must do the same work as a management company gets paid. Below is a basic summary of the duties.
Each year after the Annual Member Meeting, (held In December) immediately following is an Organizational Meeting conducted by the new Board to vote on which elected official will take on the responsibilities of each Officer position and duties.
If the Board of Directors ever decided to hire a management company, these responsibilities would transfer over to the management company and the Board Members would no longer be paid, as stated in our Governing Documents.
